About Rise Milton

When guitarist, Jonas Lindahl's previous band TD Lemon split up in mid 2008 he had to reinvent his songwriting a bit. He wrote a lot of electronic music but added a few guitars here and there. After a couple of months he had a bunch of new songs that he really loved and thought that forming a new band, would be the right thing to do. At first it didn't go too smooth. Members of the band dropped out because they lacked the time and interest, but soon after that Jonas contacted one of his old drummers, Daniel Engdahl, and he really had the ambition to play in Rise Milton. So the two friends began rehearsing and started to look for other members. Later on they came to think of a good old friend that really had a beautiful voice, Sebastian Wijk. He listened to the songs and decided that it would be fun to try it out. And then, just a couple of weeks later, Dennis Camitz were asked to join the band as the rhythm guitarist. He immediately said that he wanted the spot. Now the band was complete and they started to record their debute EP. We would like to call the music 'ambient pop/rock', as we use bass synth's and stuff instead of a bass player. This seemed very logic since we wanted to add a unique touch to our sound. But the concept is simple. We just want to make good music — something people can connect to. All love to you people that supports us! / Jonas, Sebastian, Daniel and Dennis.
