The Swedish band Bohemian Lifestyle consists of the friends Daniel Bromert, Filip Conic, Richard Lindström, Jesper Stelius and Pontus Wiberg, hailing from Älvsjö, a suburb south of Stockholm. The music they create speaks of lost souls and parties that never end. They emphasize the music but also the narrative lyrics that come in hand. The musical journey of the young band members began with listening to old records from the 70’s and 80’s – this later escalated to become a lifestyle for them. They all had a dream to become like their idols and discovered the art of writing music not soon after that. The summer of 2004, in an old beaten-down rehearsal studio, was probably the birth of Bohemian Lifestyle. Back then the band consisted of Pontus, Filip, Richard, Jesper and Richard’s brother Robert. In 2005 Robert desided to quit the band and a new member stepped into the twilight. Daniel Bromert. The friends desided to show their music to the world and started playing gigs in the winter of 2007. The warm ember glow of ‘Capitol Bohemia’ was recorded in summer of 2008 and was their first EP. Bohemian Lifestyle has already performed at high-profile gigs in Sweden. They are hoping they will make their debut appearances in other countries soon.
