About Frankly

In the mid 90´s the group Leash was formed as a collaboration between the musicians Anders Östman and Thomas Lindberg. Thomas brother Dan Lindberg and the vocalist Martin Scherman helped the guys out with a couple of gigs and Leash was a fact. A few promotion records were made and then the album “Generation X-Large” was recorded at Roasting House in Malmö Sweden.
In 2006 Leash found itself without a singer and by recommendation they eventually found Paul Schöning.

Paul Schönings former band Pathos was nominated for best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal 2003 at the Swedish Grammy awards with their third album Katharsis.
Paul has a vast experience as a musician playing and singing in different musical genres and bands. With Frankly Paul is back doing what he loves, singing with a dynamic and energetic band.

Frankly are currently writing new material for a solid base to go on tour with. At the moment the band is without a record label and are recording and producing their own material.

The best way to describe Franklys music is hard rock with strong influences of the 70's and the 90's.
