. In the late fall of 2008, riffmeister Hella and energypacked drummer AW decided to join forces in what would eventually become the aggressive stoner groove you're currently listening to. The two immediately discovered their mutual love for groovy stuff, whether it is all time metal gods Black Sabbath, Canadian punkers Danko Jones or just plain ol' moogerfooger Stevie Wonder. As long as it rocks your body, you know that it's right!

A few jam sessions, drinks and a couple of Sodertaljes finest kebabs later the name Grande was born and the two started looking for a third soul mate to handle the four string. But to find that guy, some songs had to be recorded to show what Grande is really all about.
All things said and done, the two contacted Rune Franne (at Sonic Art Studio) for a few hours of ground wrecking recording in the man's basement. AW beating the crap out of his drums and Hella going on both a six and four string rampage as well as yelling the mic to pieces. The songs were later passed on to Erik Forsberg (at Midtown Music Studios) for mixing and mastring. The result is hopefully blasting your speakers as you read this.

Back to the search for a third member. After about (or at least what felt like) 1000 auditions, mr Dingvall suddenly dropped by. Having recently bought his own rig and driving it to Sodertalje, the 230 lbs Kiruna-native contributed to the bands already sturdy hip shaking riff-o-fuckin'-rama. 'Nuff said, the trio was complete and there was no looking back.

The rest - as they say - is history. In the making!
