A fresh breeze in the Swedish Alternative Rock music scene. Founded in 2006, recorded self-produced debut album 2008, new EP out since Jan2010. The Fallen Empires have been on tour in Northern Germany twice in 2009 and played over 40 shows in Sweden; a UK tour is currently being planned for August 2010.
Take walls of guitars, solid licks, catchy melodies, heavy rhythmic beats, add a progressive touch to it all and there you have it. "Raise-the-roof" live performances pared with a very ambitious attitude towards their work.
The Fallen Empires are a Rock'n'Roll band. And in times of casting-shows and fast-food-TV-pop they make a point by writing and producing all their material themselves.
Of course, they can play their songs unplugged if the venue or following act demands it.
